We; Val, Tom and I go to Denver in the AM. Doubt if the surgery will be done this week. It seems that the insurance will not give the OK for surgery until the doc sees my heel. We have all kinds of time to run back and forth to Denver.

Tom and family had a good time at the lake. It was good for Tom to take the time away from work and ME! Val and I did go to Big Chief Road and I actually went in the house. The wheel chair did not want to go in every room but I won't have this chair after I leave the nursing home. Surprisingly I stayed dry eyed while at the house. Everything was in good shape and Val was able to get some of the windows open. We are able to open some of the windows without the rain coming in if it should rain. And we pray that we get some rain.

On the 2nd of August I have surgery to get my vocal cords working. Of course, Karen Olson, she is with TriWest insurance told me that I was screaming at her. She is a throne in our side. She knows more than the doctor does and she hasn't met me!
