VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally  

Vendor Area(s)

1.    All vendor spaces must be staffed and open to the public as stated on each contract.

2.    All vendor spaces must be kept clean at all times during the rally.

3.   No signage may be attached to trees or Hawgstock property without prior consent.

4.   The depth of the vendor space is specified in the vendor contract.  No part of the display or         
      merchandise may extend outside of your rented vendor space.

5.   Maximum booth height including signage - 12 feet.

6.   All items for sale must be visibly priced.  
Food Vendors must have a menu board with prices clearly readable.

7.   All personnel must work from the confines of the vendor space rented to them.
At no time will they be allowed to work other areas of the rally grounds.

8.  You are responsible for your own trash removal, barrels and bags will be available.

9.   Grease and oil is to be disposed of "ONLY" in the available barrels provided.
Clearly marked "GREASE" .

10.   You are responsible for providing your own "suitable" extension cord(s) *minimum of 10/3
wiring for cords* and your own water hose if needed.  Maximum required 100' of each.

11.   No animals allowed.

12.  No weapons.

13.  No golf carts

14.  No attitudes

15. No one under 21

Right to sell privileges: Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally reserves the right to grant all privileges to sell
and advertise anything on the Rally grounds.

Unauthorized sales and advertising: No one may sell or advertise merchandise, food or services
or post advertising bills, signs or cards or distribute similar materials or in any way solicit on the
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally grounds at any time without the express written permission of  
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally or its authorized agent.

Privilege contracts:  Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally shall issue contracts for the purpose of granting
sales and advertising privileges as it deems are warranted and proper.

Limited to contracted privileges: The contractor will conduct the privileges granted by their contract
according to the laws and rules of the State of Iowa, and without infringement upon the rights or
privileges of others, and will not handle, advertise or sell any commodity or transact any business
whatsoever, except that which has been expressly stipulated and contracted for, and will confine their
transactions to the space and privilege provided in that contract.

Contract renewal: Space contracts are for the period specified in the contract, and Hawgstock
Motorcycle Rally reserves the right to refuse renewal.

Reassignment of contracts: No contract or privilege granted by Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally may
be assigned or otherwise disposed of without the written consent of Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally.

Approval of space used: The contractor / vendor will not conduct or permit to be conducted on the
space which they have leased, any stand, show, amusement or exhibition of any character or
merchandise which does not meet the approval of Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally.

Rental fee: The contractor / vendor will pay a rental fee of the amount determined by Hawgstock
Motorcycle Rally as stipulated in their space contract. Any payment made for space shall be
refundable until July 15th of the given year.
After that time, no refunds shall be made.

Preparation opening date: Contractors / vendors will not be permitted to occupy a plot or space
more than 3 days before the opening of the rally, but must occupy the space by no later than
Wednesday prior to the opening of the rally or be subject to forfeiture of the space at Hawgstock
Motorcycle Rally election.

Building on space: Contractors will be permitted to build on space assigned them.  However, this
building must be a temporary structure and must be dismantled and removed by vendor vacate time
and date.  Any part of an exhibit or concession showing to public must be finished before the
scheduled opening date and time of the rally.

Approval of Vendor Area: All buildings, tents or enclosures used by the contractor must have
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rallys  approval and must be the same setup discussed with the original
application and / or final contract.

Opening Day: All contractors / vendors will be in place and ready for public inspection by
8 a.m. on the opening day of the rally.

Access: Any representative of Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally shall have access to vendors area or
exhibits at all times.

Quitting premises: At the expiration of contracts, contractors / vendors shall surrender possession
of the premises to Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally without further notice to quit. Premises shall be in
good repair as when possession was given, with the exception of unavoidable wear or damage.  
Contractor / Vendors shall not leave the premise until they have settled up with Hawgstock
Motorcycle Rally the % of sales agreed upon in the contract, and the space has been deemed clean
by Hawgstock Staff.

Electric light and power: 110 volt power is available in most areas.  All wiring must be safe and not
create a safety or fire hazard. An electric hook up charge will be assessed as specified on the
Vendor Contract. Heating and cooking elements as well as air conditioners will be dealt with on a
case by case basis and may require you to provide your own generator. A member of the
Hawgstock Staff must be contacted when an electrical connection is needed.  
**Do NOT attempt to make your own connections without prior approval**

Use of sound: No band, orchestra, musicians, loud speaker, amplifier, radio or other sound device
can be used unless the sound or amplification is confined to the area occupied by the contractor or
otherwise approved by Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally.

Discrimination: Contractors shall not discriminate because of race, creed, color, national origin,
religion, age, mental or physical disability, or sex and must further agree that their contract shall be
terminated by Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally  if a violation is found.

Violation of contract: Any violation of any of the Hawgstock Motorcycle Rallys Administrative /
Vendor Rules or the terms and agreements of a space rental contract, shall, at the election of
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally, cause the whole amount of the contract to become due and be cause
for revocation and forfeiture of all rights and privileges granted to the contractor / vendor, and in the
event of a breach of rule violation by the contractor / vendor, any and all sums paid or contracted to
be paid under the contract to  Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally shall be and become the property of the
Rally as liquidated damages for the breach of the rule violation.

Insurance: All contractors / vendors must have general liability insurance with a minimum amount of
$1,000,000.00.  Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally must be an additional insured. The wording on the
Certificate should read Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally, their officers, employees and agents as
additional insured." A Certificate must be provided by June 1, of current year showing coverage for
this.

Digging: There is no digging, trenching or placing of in ground posts allowed by anyone other than  
Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally, their officers or agents.

Theft.  Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally is not responsible for any damage to or theft of property while
leasing space or conducting business on the Rally grounds.

Inspections and Permits: All inspectors, law enforcement officials, and Rally management have the
right, during reasonable hours, to enter a concession or exhibit booth in the discharge of their duties
for the purpose of making any investigation, inspection or re-inspection.
Is it the responsibility of the exhibitor or vendor to secure the necessary permits
for conducting lawful business in the state of Iowa.

Door Prizes and Drawings: If a drawing is involved with your display / vending area, the actual
prize must be shown and drawn for on the final day of the Rally with a Hawgstock Motorcycle Rally
official present. The winners' name must be left at the Ticket / Information booth once the drawing
takes place. A sign must be posted next to the drawing box that informs all patrons that completion
of the entry form establishes a relationship that removes the patron from the "do not call" list.
